The Man Who Knew, by Sebastian Mallaby, Paul A. Volcker Senior Fellow for International Economics, Council on Foreign Relations and Visiting Senior Fellow, LSE, is the 12th winner of the £30,000 FT business book award.
While visiting the Systemic Risk Centre, Mallaby completed this much acclaimed biography of Alan Greenspan, the former chairman of the US Federal Reserve. The book was published in October 2016 by Bloomsbury and Penguin Press. Mallaby gave a public lecture and launched his new book at the LSE on 7th November 2016.
